Meandering to Mexico

We missed the boat an hour ago. 🙁

For the second time this year already.

At 5:53 this morning, our last two young folks at home left for a visit to our congregation’s mission operation in northwest Mexico.

Chayli and Andy sure wanted us to go along. Had God opened the door, we would have. Do we 😥 or 🙂 ?

Stuff for youth trip
5:44 — most of their stuff, waiting
loading stuff for youth trip
5:46 — starting to load an already loaded car!
stuffing the stuff in the full trunk
5:51 — Darlene is optimistic!
there they go
5:53 — there they go; here we stand!
there goes the next load
5:55 — there goes the next load!

We are so glad Andrew and Michayla can go on this trip. This is their first time going to Mexico without us. That’s pretty historic. And we’ll try to keep the hysterics at bay… 😳

We are also delighted Darlene and Emily (also shown above) are going as well. They’re both very neat gals who add stability and maturity to our youth group.

May God keep them and bless them all. Amen.

And it sure doesn’t seem right not to have gone, but God does all things well.
