Remembering and Redeeming Days of Infamy

Baptizing bad memories with forgiveness and grace

12-27-15 Day of Infamy -- forginess and grace for infamy

Some days etch themselves into our personal and group history and emotions like a plasma cutter’s engravery on a slab of polished diamond.

Only God’s grace and forgiveness — working in me, living in me, expressing itself through me — can finish the plasma cutter’s work into a thing of astonishing beauty to the praise of His glory.

Whatever your day that will live in infamy, use it as a good day for expressing gracious thoughts, for they could have much cheer for many!

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified” (Isaiah 61:3).
