Editor's Note: Who Speaks...? Diverse.... Anabaptism's...Legacy EAF...for the Future Editor's Note As I write this newsletter, the Fourth Annual EAF Conference is just a month away. It will be held this year on October 18 & 19 at Weaverland Mennonite Church in East Earl, PA. The speakers are Woodrow Kroll, General Director of Back to the Bible, and Bill Detweiler, speaker on The Calvary Hour. The sessions will be held at 7:30 on Friday evening and at 10:00 and 11:30 on Saturday morning. The Conference will conclude with a luncheon on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 at Yoder's Restaurant in New Holland, PA. Tickets for the luncheon are $8.00 each. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact our office. The annual business session for EAF members and congregational affiliates will be held at Weaverland from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, prior to the opening session of the Conference. This will include the Executive Secretary's Address, a report from the EAF Board of Directors, and a time for open discussion among all the participants. This is a very important meeting, and all EAF members are encouraged to make attendance a priority. Since it is likely that some major decisions regarding the future of EAF will be made, or at least reported, at this meeting, I am reserving the EAF Update, usually included as a part of the newsletter, for a separate mailing to EAF members following the Annual Conference.
