Soon it will be 26 years since our wedding day.

Today is the wedding day of our high school teacher and his new bride.

And in three months or so, our oldest son plans to marry his beloved betrothed.

At our request, Dad preached our wedding sermon, using this passage which we chose:

“Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches” (Proverbs 24:3,4).

If only I had always panted (like a super thirsty hart) after wisdom, understanding, and knowledge of God and His Word.

But the past is passed.

If only now I will pant more and more after Him and His wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.

  1. Congratulations on your anniversary. My dear wife and I have been married for 21 years. Each year truly is sweeter…and I know it is because we mature more and more in the Lord. Thank God, He sent me a patient, gentle woman who puts up with my growing up process. God bless both you and your wife.
