Check out Psalm 103 . . . .

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (2).

Learn to notice the positive in another. When a friend (any person, in fact) does or is good, give him recognition for that. Commend her for it.

Do the same for God! Notice Him, His work, and His benefits. Then bless Him.

“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities” (3).

“Who healeth all thy diseases” (3).

“Who redeemeth thy life from destruction” (4).

“Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies” (4).

“Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things” (5).

“So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (5).

What is one thing you can say about each of those benefits?

“Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion: bess the LORD, O my soul” (22).

Surely you could add something...
