Seriously?

Seriously.

“The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (3).

See there? Seriously!

So we are glad. Oh yeah, sure.

But, but, but!!!

OK, look. No, really. Look to the Lord. And look for the things He is doing for you, Mark.

That’s so much my problem. I look and see causes for discouragement, hopelessness, and outright depression.

So what are just a few great things the Lord has done for me?

• My wife loves me and is faithfully loyal to me.
• My wife and children love the Lord and want to follow Him.
• Those of us that can attend Hopewell Mennonite Church.
• My parents are super supportive.
• I have a God-oriented heritage.
• Jake and Joe are my really good friends.
• God’s grace is rich and abundant toward me.
• He has not left me stuck with my shortcomings.

“We shall be glad,” that verses ends (in Spanish).
