I Must Tell Jesus

And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

Reading:

Matthew 14:1-12

This morning (as I usually do Monday mornings) I read the Scripture text that goes with the coming Sunday School lesson (as prepared by Christian Light Publications).

Here are some of my initial questions:

  1. If God sent me to confront someone about sin, what would stop me?
  2. Am I still faithful to my various vows and solemn promises?
  3. Should I try to free myself from any rash promises I may have made?
  4. Where does Jesus fit in my sorrow, turmoil, distress, and/or confusion?

I have been particularly blessed by reading the last five words in this passage. (They are in the green box above and in the wallpaper below.)
