First, deliver me:

Consider mine affliction,
and deliver me….

Plead my cause,
and deliver me….

Salvation is far from the wicked….

Next, quicken me (what does that mean?!):

Plead my cause…
quicken me according to thy word.

Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord:
quicken me according to thy judgments.

Consider how I love thy precepts:
quicken me, O Lord,
according to thy lovingkindness.

All of the above verses are in Psalm 119:153-160.

  1. I always thought quicken meant “to give life and well being to” as in.
“If the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies, by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.” Romans 8:11

Surely you could add something...
