Expanding my default theology into real living
Reading:

Psalm 52

God as the understood source of my strength is a given. I’m a Christian, after all.

But God as my conscious go-to for strength in routine living is too often an oversight. 🙁

I thought of this in reflecting on this:

“Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength” (Psalm 52:7).

My theology includes God as the Almighty who sustains me by His own might. My practice of relying on Him is so hit and miss, though!

So here is my renewed commitment:

“I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints” (Psalm 52:9).

By the way, what do you think “it is good before thy saints” means?

Surely you could add something...
