When I see its application to another more clearly...

Good morning and welcome to spring! 🙂

In my reading of Proverbs 20 this morning, quite a few verses caught my attention. Most of them I plan to share with my Spanish-speaking friends on Facebook. Only two do I plan to share in English:

Whoso curseth his father or his mother,
his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.

Say not thou, I will recompense evil;
but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

(Proverbs 20:20,22)

These two verses also strike me as an example of how I can handle God’s Word unevenly. I can look at verse 20 and see an important truth/warning in it and make a big deal of it (after all, it doesn’t cut me). On the other hand, verse 22 definitely applies very practically to me (be it church setting or business setting) but it can be something I so easily forget in the heat or urgency of the moment/situation.

May Jesus live His life in me today!

Surely you could add something...
