{"id":1403,"date":"2009-01-02T07:13:21","date_gmt":"2009-01-02T15:13:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/mvp\/?p=1403"},"modified":"2009-01-02T07:13:22","modified_gmt":"2009-01-02T15:13:22","slug":"shifting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/2009\/shifting\/","title":{"rendered":"Shifting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Focus, that is.<\/p>\n<p>Away from blogging so much, that is.<\/p>\n<p>Late last night I decided it is necessary for me to scale back and refocus my footprint on the Web.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the particulars of that decision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Cease from posting at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/cgi-bin\/webbbs\/lift\/lift.cgi\">Bless!<\/a> as I have been.<\/li>\n<li> Cut back posting here at <i>Ain&#8217;t Complicated<\/i> to once a week.<\/li>\n<li> After getting through Proverbs this time, stop posting at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/\">Panting Hart<\/a> (unless it&#8217;s to post my &#8220;inspirational&#8221; images for computer wallpaper and screensavers).<\/li>\n<li> Stop being a regular visitor and\/or contributor to some blogs.<\/li>\n<li> Resume development of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anabaptists.org\">Anabaptists<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a difficult decision which will be difficult for me to implement.<\/p>\n<p>However, in my reading this morning, these two verses confirm my decision for me:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (Proverbs 27:23).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation?&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (Proverbs 27: 24).<\/p>\n<p>The state of my flocks is not good.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/hethatwaiteth-b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/hethatwaiteth-s.jpg\" alt=\"[He that waiteth on his master shall be honoured (Proverbs 27:18)]\" title=\"He that waiteth on his master shall be honoured (Proverbs 27:18)\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n<i>from Proverbs 27:18<\/i><\/center><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Focus, that is.
