More than that, why should I expose my mind to exploited (self- and otherwise) women exposing their superficial charms?<\/p>\n<p>I looked for a way to adjust my Facebook settings so I could block certain categories of ads and fan pages.<\/p>\n<p>No luck.<\/p>\n<p>So, being a gung-ho <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.com\/en-US\/firefox\/personal.html\">Firefox<\/a> user, I ended up with <a href=\"http:\/\/adblockplus.org\/\">Adblock Plus<\/a> and its filtering capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the five custom filters I&#8217;m presently using:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>facebook.com#*(id^=highlights_ad)<\/li>\n<li>facebook.com#*(social_ad)<\/li>\n<li>facebook.com#*(social_ad_advert)<\/li>\n<li>facebook.com#*(sponsors)<\/li>\n<li>facebook.com#*(sidebar_ads)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I also have the <b>EasyList (USA)<\/b> Filter Subscription enabled.<\/p>\n<p>Presto! Voila! Bingo!
