Amp, an energy drink made by Pepsi, has an application (app, for short) for the iPhone called \u201cBefore You Score.\u201d It\u2019s billed as a \u201croadmap to success with your favorite kinds of women\u201424, in all.\u201d Choose your type and get suggestions on how to \u201cscore.\u201d<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a boast from the online commercial for it: \u201cIf you\u2019re anticipating a successful night, the Before You Score app gives you up-to-the minute information, feeds, lines, and much more to help you amp up and talk to 24 different types of ladies.\u201d By \u201clines\u201d they mean pick-up lines. As for \u201ctypes,\u201d you can choose from \u201cbusinesswoman,\u201d \u201cforeign exchange student,\u201d \u201csorority girl,\u201d \u201crebound girl,\u201d \u201cnerd,\u201d \u201ctreehugger,\u201d \u201ccougar,\u201d \u201ctwins,\u201d even \u201cmarried.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Have they no shame?<\/p>\n
Have they no decency?<\/p>\n
Apparently not:<\/p>\n
Pepsi issued an apology via Twitter that said, in part: \u201cWe apologize if it\u2019s in bad taste.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
