I just read Always There<\/a> over at Our Daily Bread<\/i>:<\/p>\n

I suspect that sometimes when we pray, we think something similar has happened to God\u2014that for some reason He isn\u2019t there. But the Bible offers us comfort with the assurance that God hasn\u2019t \u201cfallen from the sky.\u201d He is always available to us. He hears and He cares.<\/p>\n

In a time of desperation, David wrote, \u201cEvening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice\u201d (Ps. 55:17). No matter when we call on God, He hears the cries of His children. That should encourage our hearts. What was David\u2019s response to having a God who hears prayer? \u201cCast your burden on the Lord, and He shall sustain you\u201d (v.22). Although God may not answer as we would like or when we would like, we know that at \u201cevening and morning and at noon\u201d He is always there.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That’s good timing for me.<\/p>\n

I believe what that says.<\/p>\n

Because the Bible tells me so.<\/p>\n

But I still find myself grasping for faith while kicking at the grasping claws of unbelief.<\/p>\n
