{"id":2290,"date":"2011-11-20T07:38:24","date_gmt":"2011-11-20T15:38:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/?p=2290"},"modified":"2011-11-20T07:46:19","modified_gmt":"2011-11-20T15:46:19","slug":"christians-beer-and-profanity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/2011\/christians-beer-and-profanity\/","title":{"rendered":"Christians at Peace With Beer and Profanity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I stared in disbelief at the opening of the article in <i>World<\/i> (&#8220;Today&#8217;s News | Christian Views&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/mvp\/wp-content\/beer-and-profanity-s.jpg\" alt=\"Beer and profanity quote from World Magazine\" title=\"Beer and profanity quote from World Magazine\" style=\"display:block; width:298px; height:83px; border:2px solid red; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; text-align:center\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I did a quick search for more beer in the article and <!--more--> in the comments section.<\/p>\n<p><b>None, that I could see!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I was incredulous. And nigh sick. <i>World<\/i>?! Tony?! This is their stance?! <b>Wow!<\/b><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I recently had several men from where I work over to my place, for chili, beer, and a movie. I warned them in advance about the profanity. Not mine, the movie\u2019s. The film we assembled to watch was <em>Glengarry Glen Ross<\/em>, based on the David Mamet play. I defy anyone to find a film with more profanity per line of dialogue.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I wish I had time to respond substantively to the article and Mr. Woodlief&#8217;s premise. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t, so I won&#8217;t.<\/p>\n<p>But this morning I took the time to check again for <i>beer<\/i> in the comments.
