“I. Hate. Failure.”<\/p>\n

That’s how I planned to start my short devotional talk last Sunday evening before our monthly Moments in Missions<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Someone far closer to the front of the auditorium “captured” the podium before I took even one step into the auditorium! Chalk that one up to befuddled communication. \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n

So my talk will need to wait. But in the interest of trying to encourage you, let me give you the verses I thought to use. <\/p>\n

Luke 22:32<\/div>\n
But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.<\/div>\n
John 17:9,11,15,20<\/div>\n
I pray for them. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word.<\/div>\n
Hebrews 7:25<\/div>\n
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.<\/div>\n
1 John 2:1<\/div>\n
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.<\/div>\n
1 John 5:12<\/div>\n
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.<\/div>\n
Philippians 4:13<\/div>\n
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.<\/div>\n
Philippians 2:13<\/div>\n
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.<\/div>\n
