Ever feel like a loser?<\/p>\n

No? Well, I have. (I never thought I would, but now I know different.)<\/p>\n

So if you’ve ever thought of yourself as a loser, I understand well enough the discouragement and the sense of uselessness.<\/p>\n

“I can’t do anything right!” Yeah, well, check this out: <\/p>\n

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing”<\/span> (John 15:5).<\/p>\n

Jesus stated the matter as a negative. Rather, He used two negatives. So we could interpret that verse to convey this message: “With me, you can do anything.”<\/p>\n

Well, then, how about this next verse?!<\/p>\n

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”<\/span> (Philippians 4:13).<\/p>\n

So there you are — with Christ and through Christ we can go from being a loser to being a victor.<\/p>\n

The work, then, is God’s:<\/p>\n

“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure”<\/span> (Philippians 2:13).<\/p>\n

But still I have times — far too many times — when I run out of spiritual steam and emotional energy. God anticipated that also! Drink deeply of the hope in these next two verses:<\/p>\n

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength”<\/span> (Isaiah 40:29).<\/p>\n

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”<\/span> (Ephesians 6:10).<\/p>\n

I struggle to implement this in my dark times. Like yesterday.<\/p>\n

If you<\/em> succeed at this, how do you do it?<\/strong><\/p>\n
