{"id":2480,"date":"2012-07-31T20:33:44","date_gmt":"2012-08-01T03:33:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/?p=2480"},"modified":"2012-08-03T10:00:03","modified_gmt":"2012-08-03T17:00:03","slug":"help-me-title-my-new-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/2012\/help-me-title-my-new-book\/","title":{"rendered":"Help Me Title My New Book!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Six weeks ago, I alerted several thousand readers to <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/thoughts4week\/message\/597\" title=\"Mark Roth's vision for a self-published ebook\">A Vision for Fall Quarter 2012<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I am slowly converting that vision into a 52-page book, with two equal-length sections:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top:-1.2em\">\n<li>A Living Faith<\/li>\n<li>The Beginnings of the Church<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do you suggest for a title for such a book?<\/strong> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Each of the above sections has thirteen two-page &#8220;chapters&#8221; with these subdivisions:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top:-1.2em\">\n<li>Preparing My Heart<\/li>\n<li>Asking Questions to Personalize the Lesson<\/li>\n<li>Summarizing Foundational Concepts<\/li>\n<li>Nourishing My Soul<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As of right now, I&#8217;m three pages short of the half-way mark. (Did you notice the update box over there in the sidebar?)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/mvp\/wp-content\/book-cover-sample.jpg\" title=\"Sample cover for my new book\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/mvp\/wp-content\/book-cover-sample.jpg\" alt=\"Sample cover for my new book\" style=\"width:25%; height:25%\" class=\"alignright\" \/><\/a>Now before I do too much more writing, I need to set up a dedicated page for this project instead of relying on blog posts. <strong>Alas, I still have no title for my book!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I guess I could just use <em>Thoughts for the Week<\/em> as the title. Or I could go with a simple something like I show here. Or I could cobble together some combination of the two. But I&#8217;d rather have your help. I think. \ud83d\ude2f<\/p>\n<p><strong>I am hoping you will help me!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bonus question: What do you suggest for cover art?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> <em>&#8212; August 3, 2012<\/em> &#8212; I&#8217;ve settled on a title.
