Was he praying as he died? If so, what would a Christian be praying as a Muslim slices off his head? <\/p>\n
I know this is old news. Apparently it happened back in early June, but I just learned about it Friday afternoon! Somehow, I didn’t know about this story of modern-day martyrdom.<\/p>\n
Why not? I suppose some would argue that it has to do with a media effort to bury or ignore stories that show Islam in a bad light. Perhaps. Or maybe it’s just that these atrocities have become so frequent and common that one more fails to qualify as news.<\/p>\n
