(They happen toward the end of a year.)<\/li>\n<li>New Day&#8217;s Resolutions<\/li>\n<li>New Week&#8217;s Resolutions<\/li>\n<li>Today&#8217;s Middle-of-the-Day&#8217;s Resolutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>key to making <i>effective<\/i> resolutions<\/strong> is to make them when they need to be made. If you need to do something different or new, <strong>don&#8217;t wait til January 1<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>Without regard to this post&#8217;s title, some items on <em>my 2013 To Do<\/em> list: <!--more--><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left:20px\">\n<ol>\n<li>Continue blogging less about political stuff here<\/li>\n<li>Develop <a href=\"http:\/\/www.woodburns-own.com\" title=\"Woodburn's Own\">Woodburn&#8217;s Own<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Write a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anabaptists.org\/books\/faith-works\/\" title=\"Faith Works | by Mark Roth\">ebook<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Reduce my social media footprint even further<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"75\">\n<li>Go to prayer meeting with greater regularity<\/li>\n<li>Get much, much, much more <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/2010\/you-walkin\/\" title=\"You Walkin'?\">exercise<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Grow in retaining God in my knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"478\">\n<li>Write the teacher&#8217;s guide for a certain Bible curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Get all my <a href=\"http:\/\/myworld.ebay.com\/markroth\/\" title=\"Mark Roth, eBayer\">eBay<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/shops\/anabaptistbooks\" title=\"Mark's Amazon\">Amazon<\/a> stuff listed<\/li>\n<li>Update my friends&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/mvp\/mark-roth-wordpresser\/\" title=\"Mark Roth, WordPress guy\">websites<\/a> (or do I mean web sites?)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2011\">\n<li>Free up my evenings for table games and reading and such non-computer things<\/li>\n<li>Resume more frequent blogging at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/\" title=\"Panting Hart\">Panting Hart<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/ciervo\/\" title=\"Ciervo Bramante\">Ciervo Bramante<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Be more of an encourager<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;d tell you more, but thirteen is enough for now.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s on your mind to do differently this year?<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The key to resolutions (new year&#8217;s or otherwise) is to make them when they need to be made.
