I saw a picture today that reminded me of this verse:<\/p>\n
“As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion”<\/i><\/font> (Proverbs 11:22).<\/p>\n The picture featured an attractive woman cozied up to a handsome man.<\/p>\n With no apparent shame on her part.<\/p>\n Too bad.<\/p>\n I’ve seen lots of pictures like that. And far worse.<\/p>\n Too bad.<\/p>\n So how about this next verse?<\/p>\n “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised”<\/i><\/font> (Proverbs 31:30).<\/p>\n Lady, don’t cozy up to a man who’s not your husband.<\/p>\n Guard your virtue. Protect your reputation. Honor God. (Of course, if you don’t fear the Lord, this post likely means little to you.
