“Having . . . boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus” (Hebrews 10:19).

No longer is it only one man doing it only once a year as they did under the Old Covenant.

I have access to God. Anytime. All the time. Bold access. Free access.

Did I say “free”? Yes, free, but at a terrible price. This “free” access is by the blood of Jesus.

I wonder how many times today I boldly will take advantage of this easy, free access.

May God remind me.

In the ancient Jewish worship, the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies once a year…with blood…to offer for sin — his own and that of the people.

Today, as in right now, Christ is my high priest:

“For Christ is…entered…into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us” (Hebrews 9:24).

Right now, Christ is before God.

For me!

So it makes lots of sense for me to “serve the living God” (Hebrews 9:14).

Just look what He did for me!

Just look what He is doing for me!
