Reading:
Psalm 110

Over the last few months I have called out frequently to the Lord, “Defend us!”

Though I haven’t prayed that way regarding human enemies, this verse I just read fits:

“He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries” (6).

I think that’s a gory verse.

But in its own way it declares the great power of my Defender.

And He is no less mighty and effective against my enemies in the spiritual realm!

Reading:
Luke 24:33-53

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high” (49).

Don’t try anything before then.

After then . . . .

The power from on high will enable you to live.

His life.

Here.

For Him.

Thank you, Lord!
