To put it another way, He doesn&#8217;t want me to sin.<\/p>\n<p>So one thing He did was write me a long letter.<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not&#8230;&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (1 John 2:1).<\/p>\n<p>One reason God had the Bible written is that I might not sin. Wow!<\/p>\n<p>Alas, even though God has written much and done much to keep me from sinning, I still sin at times. Maybe even lots of times.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s done something about that too!<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.&#8221;<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>advocate<\/i> &#8212; One that pleads in another&#8217;s behalf; an intercessor; a supporter or defender.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>God wants me to avoid sin.
