What does that mean?<\/p>\n

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain”<\/font><\/b> (21).<\/p>\n

Wow, that’s a familiar verse!<\/p>\n

The second part is clear enough, but what does that middle section mean?<\/p>\n

“to live is Christ”<\/font><\/b><\/center><\/p>\n

I know what…. I’ll see if my computer Bible has some helpful cross references….<\/p>\n

Not many. But check these out:<\/p>\n

“…Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death…”<\/font><\/b> (Philippians 1:20).<\/p>\n

“For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s”<\/font><\/b> (Philippians 2:21).<\/p>\n

“When Christ, who is our life…”<\/font><\/b> (Colossians 3:4).<\/p>\n

I thought of these as well:<\/p>\n

“He that hath the Son hath life…”<\/font><\/b> (1 John 5:12).<\/p>\n

“…I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by…”<\/font><\/b> (Galatians 2:20).<\/p>\n

So…what do you think?<\/p>\n
