{"id":1132,"date":"2009-08-26T09:10:15","date_gmt":"2009-08-26T15:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/pantinghart\/?p=1132"},"modified":"2009-08-26T09:10:15","modified_gmt":"2009-08-26T15:10:15","slug":"is-god-angry-with-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/2009\/is-god-angry-with-me\/","title":{"rendered":"Is God Angry With Me?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"reading\">Reading:<br \/>\n<font color=\"white\">Isaiah 5:18-30<\/font>\n<\/div>\n<p>The following tragic verse fragment provokes the question:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people&#8230;&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (25).<\/p>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t that tragic?<\/p>\n<p>Doesn&#8217;t that give you a sense of dismay?<\/p>\n<p>Might it make you wonder what the <i>therefore<\/i> is there for?<\/p>\n<p>I am so grateful not to serve an irrational, fickle God who gets mad for reasons unknown to me. He has clearly revealed His will. <b>I want to know it!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/in_their_own_eyes.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/in_their_own_eyes.jpg\" alt=\"[The Scriptures say in Isaiah 5:21 -- Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes!]\" title=\"God's Word says: Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes!
