{"id":130,"date":"2006-01-29T06:28:42","date_gmt":"2006-01-29T14:28:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/pantinghart\/?p=130"},"modified":"2006-09-04T06:50:12","modified_gmt":"2006-09-04T12:50:12","slug":"the-lord-looked-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/2006\/the-lord-looked-down\/","title":{"rendered":"The Lord Looked Down"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When God looks down from heaven, He sees me.<\/p>\n<p>But <i>why<\/i> does He look down?<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s one reason:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (Psalm 14:2).<\/p>\n<p>When He looks down and sees me, does He see an understanding person who seeks God?<\/p>\n<p>If my understanding were measured by how much I seek God, I don&#8217;t have much understanding.<\/p>\n<p>When I understand (even a little bit) the greatness of my need and the greatness of God, I will seek Him.<\/p>\n<p>That means the last several weeks have been dull weeks for me, weeks in which I have not been a panting hart.<\/p>\n<p>Help!<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When God looks down from heaven, He sees me.
