I need to prepare to teach the men’s Sunday School class this morning.<\/p>\n
But first some excerpts from Psalm 81:<\/p>\n
Sing aloud unto God our strength:
\nmake a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.<\/p>\nThou calledst in trouble,
\nand I delivered thee….<\/p>\nI am the Lord thy God,
\nwhich brought the out of the land of Egypt:
\nopen thy mouth wide,
\nand I will fill it.<\/p>\nBut my people would not hearken to my voice….<\/p>\n
So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust….<\/p>\n
Oh that my people had hearkened unto me,
\nand Israel had walked in my ways!<\/p>\nI should soon have subdued their enemies….<\/p>\n
He should have fed them also
\nwith the finest of the wheat:
\nand with honey out of the rock
\nshould I have satisfied thee.<\/p>\nPsalm 81<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Opening my mouth wide to make a joyful noise — that I understand.<\/p>\n
Alas, I more often open my mouth to make a mournful noise. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n
But opening my mouth wide for God to fill — how do I do that?<\/p>\n
