What does God want me as a Christian to do?<\/p>\n
His work.<\/p>\n
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord”<\/font><\/b> (1 Corinthians 15:58).<\/p>\n When I do the Lord’s work for Him, I’m not wasting my time.<\/p>\n What is the Lord’s work?<\/p>\n Making seeds grow. Keeping atoms from flying apart. Maintaining planetary orbits. Sustaining the animal kingdom. Deciding on the weather, then causing it.<\/p>\n I’m persuaded, though, that Paul didn’t have that in mind. I’m sure he meant what God does in the lives of people.<\/p>\n What can I do today in the lives of others?<\/p>\n Smile. Say something kind. Help with their work. Pray for them. Be cheerful.
