No good thing withheld.<\/strong><\/p>\n And how to arrive at the second from the first.<\/p>\n Here, notice this from my reading this morning in Daily Light on the Daily Path<\/i>:<\/p>\n “I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing”<\/span> (Romans 7:18).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n That made me think of the other time “no good thing” appears in the King James Version:<\/p>\n “For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”<\/span> (Psalm 84:11).<\/p>\n That is shocking in its inclusivity. What a motivator to walk uprightly before God today!<\/p>\n Well, here are two more excerpts (read it all<\/a> | buy the book<\/a>):<\/p>\n “Perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD”<\/span> (Ezekiel 16:14).<\/p>\n “Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us”<\/span> (Psalm 90:17).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n God’s beauty upon us?
