I have my way of living. I talk, think, and act in certain almost-predictable ways. My values and purposes affect (and are affected by) my ways.<\/p>\n
Do any of my ways line up with those of the ungodly?<\/p>\n
How do my values line up with theirs? My speech? My attitudes? My facial expressions?<\/p>\n
Proverbs 4:14 and 15 caused my thoughts to end up in this channel.<\/p>\n
“Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.”<\/font><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n “Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.”<\/font><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n Get it?!<\/p>\n STAY AWAY!<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n (And I don’t apologize for shouting it. If I knew how to pound this virtual “pulpit,” I would do that also.)<\/p>\n “God divided the light from the darkness”<\/font><\/i><\/b> (Genesis 1:4).<\/p>\n “What communion hath light with darkness?”<\/font><\/i><\/b> (2 Corinthians 6:14).<\/p>\n “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light”<\/font><\/i><\/b> (Ephesians 5:8).<\/p>\n “Shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”<\/font><\/i><\/b> (1 Peter 2:9).<\/p>\n “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day”<\/font><\/i><\/b> (Proverbs 4:18).<\/p>\n May my ways today be a little more light.
