However, verses such as the following three give me the impression <b>there might not be any difference<\/b>: <!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance&#8221; (Acts 2:4).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning&#8221; (Acts 11:15).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost&#8221; (Acts 11:16).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At Pentecost, the record shows they were <strong>filled<\/strong> (2:4). Yet when Peter looks back on that event later, he speaks of it as being <strong>baptized<\/strong> with the Holy Spirit. (11:15,16).<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I have been satisfied to leave the issue at that.<\/p>\n<p>I am challenged to <strong>yield to the Spirit<\/strong> and to resist the devil.<\/p>\n<p>I am challenged to <strong>live in the Spirit<\/strong> and to die to self.<\/p>\n<p>I am challenged to <strong>walk in the Spirit<\/strong> and to crucify the flesh.<\/p>\n<p>I am challenged to grow in the yielding, living, and walking.<\/p>\n<p>Back in 2000 sometime, I asked this question: <em>Is the filling of the Holy Spirit something to be sought?<\/em> I also gave an answer here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anabaptists.org\/clp\/youth\/2-201.html\" title=\"On seeking the filling of God's Spirit\">The Day of Pentecost<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wallpaper\"><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/thespiritliftedme-b.jpg\" title=\"Yield to God's Spirit and He will lift you up!\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/thespiritliftedme-s.jpg\" alt=\"The Spirit lifted me up\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>&#8220;The Spirit lifted me up.&#8221;<\/em><\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Or filled?
