My response to correction reveals my character.<\/p>\n
I would prefer to put the burden on the one doing the correcting. As in, “If he would have had a better attitude, I would have accepted his correction.” Or, “If she weren’t such a gossiping nag to begin with, I could take her correction better.”<\/p>\n
Do you understand what I’m trying to say?<\/p>\n
I want the person reproving me to do it right so that I can respond right. If not, well, my poor response somehow becomes his fault, not my own.<\/p>\n
