I want to be a more mature believer. I want to increase in faithfulness to Him.<\/p>\n<p>How do I get there?<\/p>\n<p>First of all, I must keep Jesus as the focus and purpose of my life:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (Hebrews 12:2).<\/p>\n<p>Then there&#8217;s this in today&#8217;s chapter:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (James 2:22).<\/p>\n<p>That is so neat!<\/p>\n<p>How I live and what I do affect the development and maturity of my faith.<\/p>\n<p>(Let me remember the downside to that &#8212; fleshly living affects my faith just as much as godly living.)<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I want to have greater faith in Jesus.
