“But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom”<\/font><\/b> (Matthew 26:29).<\/p>\n

Jesus is anticipating that day.<\/p>\n

Am I?<\/p>\n

Let me live for that day.<\/p>\n

And let me be prepared for it.<\/p>\n

“Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven”<\/font><\/b> (Matthew 26:64).<\/p>\n

To the Christian, that’s a positive statement.<\/p>\n

However, it doesn’t seem like Jesus meant it as a positive for His target audience at that time.<\/p>\n

“And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth”<\/font><\/b> (Matthew 26:71).<\/p>\n

Huh? How does that<\/i> verse fit here?!<\/p>\n

Someday I may find myself in a situation in which being identified this way will be seen as a count against me.<\/p>\n

May I not see it that way!<\/p>\n

I want to stand for Jesus then.<\/p>\n

So I’ll stand for Him now.<\/p>\n
