{"id":420,"date":"2007-06-12T05:33:37","date_gmt":"2007-06-12T13:33:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/pantinghart\/?p=420"},"modified":"2007-06-12T05:35:35","modified_gmt":"2007-06-12T13:35:35","slug":"oh-god-dont-hide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/2007\/oh-god-dont-hide\/","title":{"rendered":"Oh God, Don&#8217;t Hide!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As I started to read Psalm 102, the second verse seized my attention:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.&#8221;<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>That is the cry of <b>my<\/b> heart.<\/p>\n<p>I <b>am<\/b> in trouble.<\/p>\n<p>I am so grateful for the assurance that if I call on Him in time, He will answer in time.<\/p>\n<p>Alas, I seem to rarely call in time.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m also struck again with the realization that God doesn&#8217;t wish to be a 911 service.
