I want to be content and satisfied with that which God does for me and gives to me and allows me to experience.<\/p>\n
Yet I want more.<\/p>\n
And some things I really do not want, and yet I have times in which I desire them strongly anyway.<\/p>\n
Maybe that’s why these verses spoke to me:<\/p>\n
“They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert”<\/font><\/b> (Psalm 106:13,14).<\/p>\n Deliver me from desire for those things and experiences which God has withheld from me!<\/p>\n Let me remember what He has done.<\/p>\n Let me remember what He has promised to do.<\/p>\n And let me wait patiently for Him to do now whatever it is He wishes to do.<\/p>\n Turn my heart to Him, that I may desire Him, that I may bless Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I want to be content and satisfied with that which God does for me and gives to me and allows me to experience.
