Reading: Luke 2:21-35<\/b><\/p>\n

He held the Lord in his arms when He was an eight-day-old baby, knowing He was the long-awaited Messiah.<\/p>\n

Wow!<\/p>\n

However, in my reading this morning, this verse fragment caught my attention:<\/p>\n

“And he came by the Spirit into the temple…”<\/font><\/b> (27).<\/p>\n

I want to be like Simeon that way — propel-able and stear-able by God’s Spirit.<\/p>\n

Not just to the meeting place of God’s people.<\/p>\n

But wherever God wants me to be at any given time.<\/p>\n

That only comes from continual surrender to Jesus.<\/p>\n

And from ongoing contact with Him.<\/p>\n

And growing in awareness of Him.<\/p>\n

Like this:<\/p>\n

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”<\/font><\/b> (Proverbs 3:6).<\/p>\n

And this:<\/p>\n

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye”<\/font><\/b> (Psalm 32:8).<\/p>\n

That’s the life for me!<\/p>\n
