His downhill ascent to the cross is accelerating. His load is getting heavier. The dreadful, awful end looms. Betrayals, denials, and mockery await &#8212; and agony. The hour of lonely aloneness is upon Him.<\/p>\n<p>He gives His disciples something to help them remember.<\/p>\n<p>And they?<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (24).<\/p>\n<p>What is on Jesus&#8217; heart today?<\/p>\n<p>What is His focus?<\/p>\n<p>What is His goal?<\/p>\n<p>As those first disciples, I frequently ignore His heart.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m too busy with me.<\/p>\n<p>Ouch! Help!
