Luke 23:1-25<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Some questions shouldn’t be answered.<\/p>\n

Some explanations shouldn’t be given.<\/p>\n

Even in the face of false accusations.<\/p>\n

Jesus modeled this in Herod’s palace:<\/p>\n

“Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing”<\/span> (Luke 23:9).<\/p>\n

I wish I had the wisdom to know when to respond and when to hold my peace.<\/p>\n

Some of my missed opportunities haunt me. At times, those opportunities were for silence, but I spoke. At other times, the opportunities were for speaking, but I kept quiet.<\/p>\n

Will I ever learn? Will I ever be wise?<\/p>\n

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him”<\/span> (James 1:5).<\/p>\n
