{"id":502,"date":"2008-01-07T06:15:04","date_gmt":"2008-01-07T15:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/pantinghart\/?p=502"},"modified":"2008-01-07T06:11:43","modified_gmt":"2008-01-07T15:11:43","slug":"there-is-hope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/2008\/there-is-hope\/","title":{"rendered":"There Is Hope"},"content":{"rendered":"<table width=130 border=0 cellpadding=10 cellspacing=0 bgcolor=\"#003300\" align=right align=texttop>\n<tr>\n<td><b><font color=\"#339933\">Reading:<\/font><br \/>\n<font color=\"#ffffff\">Luke 24:1-12<\/font><br \/>\n<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>When do I need to hope?<\/p>\n<p>When all seems dark and hopeless.<\/p>\n<p>So I need to hope today.<\/p>\n<p>Because I see a lot of darkness in two of the very most important &#8220;things&#8221; to me.<\/p>\n<p>But how about this verse, huh?<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (3).<\/p>\n<p>Talk about dark and hopeless!<\/p>\n<p>No doubt these women were still reeling from the events of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Now they were on their way to take care of and pay tribute to their fallen Master.<\/p>\n<p>Or to put it another way, they were going to the burial site of their hopes.<\/p>\n<p>But when they got to the tomb, their dead Lord was gone. And with Him, their dead hopes.<\/p>\n<p>See, Mark! <b>There is hope!<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This was a very good passage for me this morning. Oh wow!<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/livingamong-b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/livingamong-s.jpg\" alt=\"[Why seek ye the living among the dead?
