Before I started, I told the Lord I feel so bleak and empty and dry and overwhelmed and <i>blah, blah, blah<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>From the first verse, this reading was well-timed for me. Too bad I didn&#8217;t get to it first thing in the morning like I usually do!<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (3).<\/p>\n<p>Let the house of Mark say that, too. Because it&#8217;s true! And without His mercy, there would be no house of Mark.<\/p>\n<p>More verses fit me so well, I&#8217;ll include some of them here in case they fit you as well.<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (5).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (14).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (17).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (18).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (21).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (25).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (28).<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/sheweduslight-b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/sheweduslight-s.jpg\" alt=\"[God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light (Psalm 118:27)]\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><i>from Psalm 118:27<\/i><\/center><\/p>\n<p><b>A little bit more from Psalm 118:<\/b> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/cgi-bin\/webbbs\/lift\/lift.cgi?read=8371\"><font color=green>Just Do It!<\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reading: Psalm 118 Shortly before two this afternoon, I sat down to read this Psalm.
