{"id":569,"date":"2008-06-13T07:52:04","date_gmt":"2008-06-13T14:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eaf.net\/pantinghart\/?p=569"},"modified":"2008-06-13T07:53:15","modified_gmt":"2008-06-13T14:53:15","slug":"three-benefits-to-obedient-loyalty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eaf.net\/pantinghart\/2008\/three-benefits-to-obedient-loyalty\/","title":{"rendered":"Three Benefits to Obedient Loyalty"},"content":{"rendered":"<table width=150 border=0 cellpadding=10 cellspacing=0 bgcolor=\"#003300\" align=right align=texttop>\n<tr>\n<td><b><font color=\"#339933\">Reading:<\/font><br \/>\n<font color=\"#ffffff\">Proverbs 6:12-22<\/font><br \/>\n<\/b><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<p>Phase One of God&#8217;s counsel and command:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;My son, keep thy father&#8217;s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (20).<\/p>\n<p>For Phase Two we have verse 22 telling the child to develop a strong, secure bond with that commandment and that law.<\/p>\n<p>Then in verse 21 I see Phase Three &#8212; three of the benefits:<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;When thou goest, it shall lead thee.&#8221;<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>A person in motion should always have his guidance system fuctioning well and dependably. The parents&#8217; commandments and laws provide that.<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;When thou sleepest, it shall keep thee.&#8221;<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>A sleeping person needs extra protection for he cannot provide it for himself. The parents&#8217; laws and commandments provide that.<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.&#8221;<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>We all need communion and companionship. We all need something good on which to think. We all need trustworthy input and counsel.
