As the economy &#8220;readjusts&#8221; (or outright collapses), I should do what I can to reduce my debt load. (Put that way, it sure doesn&#8217;t have any ring of urgency to it!)<\/p>\n<p>Then, as I read on, I processed some of the following verses through the filter of verse one: <b>Hide from the coming evil!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Thorns and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (5).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;&#8230;The borrower is servant to the lender&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (7).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity&#8230;&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (8).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (9).<\/p>\n<p><b><font color=brown>&#8220;Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease&#8221;<\/font><\/b> (10).<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/theborrowerisservant-b.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/pantinghart\/wp-content\/theborrowerisservant-s.jpg\" alt=\"[The borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7)]\" title=\"The borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7)\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n<i>from Proverbs 22:7<\/i><\/center><\/p>\n<p><b>A little bit more from Proverbs 22:<\/b> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eaf.net\/cgi-bin\/webbbs\/lift\/lift.cgi?read=8763\"><font color=green>Will.
