“He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad” (Matthew 12:30).

I declare my loyalty to Jesus.

Oh, let me never be against Him!

And let me be one who goes out and gathers with Him.

Deliver me from scattering that which He wants gathered.

So again I purpose to guard my life so that it not detract others from Jesus.

Go to Jesus:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

When I am terribly burdened…or when I’m lightly burdened…when my work seems much…or little — is my answer Jesus?

And how about taking His yoke, thus accepting His being Master?

“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29).

And thus another key to rest: humility.

Those who learn His meekness and lowliness find rest.
