“Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts” (Psalm 96:8).

How much glory does the Lord have coming?

How much glory do I owe Him personally?

Have I made any kind of progress in delivering my portion to Him?

Somehow, I don’t think He looks at the matter that way.

If that’s correct, then neither should I.

Let me not attempt to measure the praise, glory, and worship I offer Him.

Rather, let me see each day but a small portion of Him, His glory, and His works.

Then help me glory in Him, His glory, and His works.

Look at Him

I asked the Lord to speak to the need of my heart. I told the Him I am feeling so discouraged and desperate.

Then I started reading Psalm 95 (it comes after 94, you know):

“O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation” (1).

The immediate message to me: “Mark, you need to keep Me in view and in focus. That will take care of your discouragement and despair.”

I know.

I forgot.

Again.

Help me!!
