Unto thee lift I up mine eyes,

Just three disconnected (I think) notes:

  1. Only with God’s mercy can I continue on.
  2. I know the feeling of that last verse.
  3. Me thinks at times I don’t know how to pray.

I was glad
when they said
unto me,
Let us go
into the house
of the Lord.

Psalm 122

Why should that make me glad?

  1. I have the option of going to God’s house.
  2. I don’t have to go by myself.
  3. Someone wants me to go with him.
  4. I matter at least that much to someone.

So…can I convey (“channel,” if you will) that kind of gladness to someone else?
