Mark 14:1-11 | Christian Light Sunday School Lesson | April 3, 2011

What “very precious” something do I have right now that I anticipate breaking for Jesus’ blessing?

What makes me indignant at another servant in his sacrifice and service for the Master?

If it’s the poor I care so much about, why do I not sacrifice for them? (I can do them good whenever I want to, you know.)

What do I do that makes the opposition glad?

So speak ye,
and so do,
as they that shall be judged
by the law of liberty.

For he shall have judgment without mercy,
that hath shewed no mercy;
and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

James 2:9-17

Here you have that second verse in the New King James Version:

For judgment is without mercy
to the one who has shown no mercy.
Mercy triumphs over judgment.
