Lord, I cry unto thee:
make haste unto me;
give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee.

Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense;
and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

But mine eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord:
in thee is my trust;
leave not my soul destitute.

Psalm 141

Day before yesterday, I got to Psalm 138 in my reading. But I couldn’t post because of blog issues.

Anyway, I latched on to parts of it for myself.

Then thought they might be good for a certain struggling friend as well. So I emailed it to her since I couldn’t post it here.

Well, now I can post it here as well….

In the day when I cried
thou answeredst me,
and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

Though the LORD be high,
yet hath he respect unto the lowly:
but the proud he knoweth afar off.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
thou wilt revive me…
and thy right hand shall save me.

The LORD will perfect
that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Psalm 138

May we all know His nearness and strength today.
