"The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water..."

Early this morning, I arrived at this verse:

“The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with” (Proverbs 17:14).

What is most abundant in my heart?

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. -Matthew 12:34.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. -Colossians 3:16

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. -Proverbs 18:21

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart: none of his steps shall slide. -Psalm 37:30,31

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. -Ephesians 4:29

We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard. -Acts 4:20
